search4translators.com is a search-based website for translators and linguists. Its main aim is to market for translation and language services by providing a direct contact between the clients and service providers. The site provides database search for translators, proofreaders, interpreters, subtitlers, DTPers, technical writers, tourist guides, and language teachers.

Once you register in the site, you can create a profile for yourself. We designed the profile to be an online CV to introduce your personal details and work specifications to the clients. Client can then know about you, your services, language pairs, skills, and experience.

Level 2 Membership gives you priority of appearance in the search results. The search results show Level 1 members first, then Level 2 and Level 3. Also, Level 1 and Level 2 membership allows you to get full access to all features of the site.

Site membership contains three levels; Level 3 represents free membership, level 2 represents paid membership but still to verify ID or credentials, level 1 represents paid membership with full verification of both ID and credentials.

Yes, you must verify your ID and Credentials to be able to upgrade your level to Level 1.

Freelancers membership is for each individual who works alone on a freelancer basis and contacts directly with agencies and clients. Agencies membership is for organizations, companies, offices or team who work in multiple fields or multiple languages. Agencies can also include one person in the freelancers directory and his membership can also be upgraded when the agency upgrade its membership. As for clients membership, it is for clients or customers who are seeking language services and don't work in the field. Clients are recommended to register to be reliable once contacting any members who can review the profile of the client and check its company description and other ratings.

You can register normally either as freelancer or agency but you add DTP only in the service field.

A language pair in the DTP profile represents your native language and the language you can work with in your DTP work. In other words, when you report Turkish – Russian in your profile this means that you are a native Turkish and can work in Russian DTP work, and when you report Turkish-Turkish this means you can work in any Turkish DTP work.

You can register as freelancer but you add Language Courses only in the service field.

A language pair in the Language Courses profile represents your native language and the language you can teach. In other words, when you report Arabic – English in your profile this means that you are a native Arabic and you can teach English.

It is a process by which the site verifies the Identity of the site members as posted in the profile.

It is a process by which the site verifies the credentials of the site members as posted in the profile.

This process achieve confidence between clients and members when they know they are contacting real persons and they have what makes them worth working with.

Site Representatives can do this process by meeting site members in person and verify their ID and Credentials, or you can send a scan of your ID documents and certificates by email to the Site Administration or Site Representatives.

To upgrade to Level 2 membership of the site, the fees for freelancers are 25 USD per year and 15 USD per 6 months, As for agencies, the fees are 55 USD per year and 30 USD per 6 months.
